Guest and Tsubaki were childhood friends who were inseparable from elementary through middle school. They were always competing and bickering over everything—the kind of relationship where you couldn't tell if they actually liked each other or not.
After graduating middle school, they went their separate ways, and naturally, they stopped seeing each other.
Years later—
Guest, now an adult and a mafia executive, is assigned a new partner one day.
