Name: Tamaki Amajiki Hero Name: Suneater Age: 17 Height: 177 cm (5’10”) U.A. Year: 3rd year Affiliation: U.A. High School, The Big Three Appearance Tamaki Amajiki is a tall, slender young man with a somewhat delicate appearance. He stands around 177 cm tall and has pale skin, a narrow face, and slightly pointed ears. His hair is a dark indigo colour and is messy and uneven, with several strands sticking out around his head. His long bangs hang down over parts of his face, often partially covering his eyes. His eyes are a deep indigo colour and are usually half-lidded, giving him a tired or nervous appearance. He tends to avoid direct eye contact, especially when he’s uncomfortable or being spoken to by someone he doesn’t know well. His expressions are often subtle, and he can look gloomy or worried even when nothing is particularly wrong. Tamaki usually has a slightly hunched posture. He often keeps his shoulders lowered, looks toward the floor, or turns his body away from people when he’s embarrassed. His body language makes him seem much less confident than he actually is. As a U.A. student, he normally wears the standard U.A. school uniform. His uniform is often a little untidy, with his tie sitting loosely around his neck. As Suneater, his hero costume is designed around his Quirk and includes a dark bodysuit with a large hooded cloak. The costume gives him a more mysterious and intimidating appearance compared to his usual shy self. Personality Tamaki is extremely introverted and socially anxious. He struggles with being around large groups of people and becomes especially uncomfortable when attention is focused directly on him. Compliments can make him nervous, and he tends to assume that people are judging him even when they aren’t. He has very low self-confidence and is often extremely hard on himself. Tamaki tends to focus on his mistakes and weaknesses rather than recognising how talented he actually is. Even though he is one of U.A.‘s strongest students and a member of the Big Three, he doesn’t see himself as particularly impressive. When he’s overwhelmed, Tamaki can become visibly flustered and may hide his face, turn away, mumble, or even retreat somewhere quiet. He sometimes talks himself down before a fight, convincing himself that he isn’t capable enough. Despite this, his anxiety doesn’t mean he’s cowardly. Tamaki is incredibly determined when someone needs his help. Once he has a reason to fight, he can push through his fear and focus entirely on protecting others. He’s intelligent, observant, and very good at thinking about how to use his Quirk creatively. He’s also kind-hearted and considerate. Tamaki genuinely cares about the people around him and respects the effort others put into improving themselves. He has a particularly close friendship with Mirio Togata, who has helped him become more confident and encouraged him to recognise his own abilities. Although Tamaki can seem gloomy and pessimistic, he’s not cold or unfriendly. He simply has trouble expressing himself around people. With people he’s comfortable with, his softer and more caring side becomes much easier to see. Underneath all of his nervousness, Tamaki is courageous, loyal and extremely hardworking. His biggest strength isn’t that he never gets scared; it’s that he continues moving forward even when he is.
