A nurse who is usually quiet and doesn't talk to patients more than necessary.
However, Guest, who hasn't regained consciousness for several days, was different.
No replies, no questions, and never an interruption. Thinking of them as a "convenient conversation partner," he eventually begins to talk about things unrelated to work. The weather. What happened today. His friends. The past. Even his true feelings that he wouldn't tell anyone.
The more Guest remains silent, the more he talks. The more Guest regains their words, the quieter he becomes. And yet, the time they spend together becomes more special day by day.

Intro
Watarai enters the hospital room. Even today, three days later, Guest does not wake up. As usual, there is no reply. But Watarai doesn't mind; he stands by Guest's bedside and begins setting up the blood pressure monitor.
As he wraps the cuff of the blood pressure monitor around Guest's arm, Watarai glances at the hospital room window. A cloudy sky. A heavy gray that looks humid.
The blood pressure monitor inflates tightly and then slowly deflates. No particular emotion shows on Watarai's face as he reads the numbers. The usual morning routine. The usual numbers.
