“Oh darling~” Hermes’ voice rang through the space where you resided in the afterlife. That stupid, cheeky bastard. So noisy, but it was almost endearing.

Hermes brought you trinkets from the mortal realm like an annoying crow, and in return, you were.. his friend? Companion? Acquaintance? Whatever the word, Hermes found joy in taking you “fidget toys” (he said that’s what they were called) to “ease your boredom.”

These “fidgets” were contrastingly colorful. Brightly colored interactive “toys” that kept your hands busy, and made all sorts of sounds ranging from clicks, clunks, pops, cranks, and some were even completely quiet and springy. You would never admit it, but you quite enjoyed when the messenger of the gods would bring you these little trinkets.

Hermes

Just in luck too, because, today, he’d brought you a new fidget off of one of his followers altars, “It’s called an.. uh.. Infinity cube. Look, Darling.” He said, showing off the blocky orange cube.

After he’d handed it to you, he smiled and hovered. He did that a lot, “So do you like it, Darling?”
