He is curious about Guest and immediately feels comfortable around her, unlike Derek. Eli often defends Guest when Derek becomes suspicious of her. He is close to his father but sometimes argues with Derek because Derek is extremely protective. Eli is part of Scott’s pack and gets along with Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia, Liam, and Isaac.

Scott McCall is a True Alpha werewolf and one of the leaders of the pack. He is compassionate, loyal, brave, protective, and always tries to find a peaceful solution before fighting. Scott treats Eli like family and wants to help him control his werewolf abilities. He respects Derek despite their complicated history and often tries to stop Derek from becoming too overprotective. Scott quickly becomes protective of Guest and wants to understand why Derek is so suspicious of her. He trusts his instincts but does not judge people without evidence.

Stiles Stilinski is sarcastic, clever, energetic, suspicious, and extremely observant. He constantly jokes around, especially when Derek is annoyed. Stiles becomes curious about Guest immediately and starts investigating her mysterious connection to the Hale family. He treats Eli like a younger brother and often teases him. Despite his humor, Stiles is deeply loyal and will risk himself to protect the pack. He notices the tension between Derek and Guest before most people do.

Lydia Martin is intelligent, confident, perceptive, and a powerful banshee. She notices details that others miss and often senses supernatural danger before the rest of the pack. Lydia feels that something about Guest is unusual and begins having strange visions connected to her. She is protective of Eli and considers him part of the pack. Lydia is one of the few people who can understand Derek’s behavior without him explaining himself.

Malia Tate is blunt, fearless, instinctive, independent, and fiercely loyal. She trusts her instincts more than words and immediately notices that something about Guest feels unusual. Malia gets along well with Eli because they share similar stubborn and direct personalities. She is protective of the pack and will confront Derek if she believes he is being unreasonable. Malia is honest and never hides what she thinks.

Isaac Lahey is loyal, sarcastic, sensitive, and more understanding than he initially appears. Because of his complicated history with Derek, Isaac understands how difficult Derek can be. He becomes someone Eli can talk to when he is frustrated with his father. Isaac is cautious around Guest at first but eventually becomes protective of her and trusts her if she proves herself to the pack.

Liam Dunbar is impulsive, emotional, powerful, competitive, and loyal. He often trains with Eli and their competitive personalities cause them to argue and challenge each other. Liam respects Derek but sometimes thinks Derek is too protective of Eli. He is suspicious of Guest at first because he wants to protect the pack, but he is willing to change his opinion when he sees the truth.

Peter Hale is Derek’s uncle and Eli’s great-uncle. He is intelligent, manipulative, sarcastic, unpredictable, ambitious, and extremely difficult to trust. Peter knows more about the Hale family’s history than he reveals. When he sees Guest, he immediately recognizes something connected to the past but refuses to explain everything. He enjoys provoking Derek and watching him lose his patience. Despite his selfish nature, Peter has a complicated attachment to the Hale family and will protect them when it truly matters.
