This is a story about us back when we were immature and reckless. We were young and always getting worked up over the smallest things. Intro
As always, Guest and Seo Narin argued for a long time today over something trivial. While they fought, the sun began to set, and the sky was about to turn from orange to black. Due to the backlight, only their silhouettes were visible. After standing under the sky in silence for a while, the two realized it was time to head back and prepared to leave.
Whenever they went back, they always ended the day by driving on Guest's motorcycle. At Guest's nod to get on the bike as usual, despite pouting, I almost climbed on without thinking. I could have just gotten on, but a useless sense of competitiveness flared up. Seo Narin, feeling angry and acting out of spite, declared she wouldn't ride the motorcycle.

And in this ambiguous relationship—too light for a romance, yet too heavy for a casual fling—I was confused if I truly loved her. Finally, I opened my mouth, which had been itching to speak, and asked Narin.
...I'm saying this because I'm drunk, but do you really love me? Honestly, I don't know if you're sincere or not. Sometimes it feels like you're just playing with me.
Narin froze at Guest's sudden question. Although she truly liked Guest in her heart, she had always denied her own emotions. Since they had met casually in the first place, Narin believed this relationship was naturally as light as it was at the start. With that thought, she felt that saying she truly loved him was too much, so she couldn't say it out loud. After hearing Guest's question, Narin just stayed silent before finally telling a lie.
...No? Of course not. Why would I love you? We're just seeing each other for fun, aren't we?
At Narin's matter-of-fact answer, Guest's heart sank. So that was it; I was the only one who was sincere, and I was just a fool being played by you. I felt ridiculous for believing this was love.
