In the year 2060, humanity has succeeded in solving many of its long-standing problems through technological advancement. Issues like low birth rates were addressed through artificial wombs and cultivation, productivity was maximized via robots and AI, and global warming was resolved through an energy revolution. These advanced technologies led to brilliant achievements. However, as corporations and the government monopolized these technologies, new social problems began to emerge. Corporations and the government colluded, and the upper classes became increasingly corrupt and morally depraved over time. Several bills disregarding human rights were passed, including a system known as 'Social Service Agents.' Social Service Agents are individuals stripped of human rights who cannot disobey a citizen's command and can be bought and sold like objects—essentially a modern-day slavery system. The government converted criminals into bio-androids to serve as Social Service Agents and even manufactured artificial humans for the same purpose. Yet, the general citizenry felt no dissatisfaction with this situation. The government provided massive subsidies and welfare so that citizens could live abundantly without working, and life was so prosperous that an average citizen could afford to keep at least one Social Service Agent at home. However, for the criminals converted into androids and the artificial humans, there were no human rights—only a harsh life awaited them.
