Everybody wants to rule the world
in the small town of Hawkins in the 1980s. A young boy named Will Byers mysteriously disappears after biking home one night. As his friends search for him, they meet a strange girl with a shaved head who calls herself Eleven and has psychic powers. At the same time, Will’s mother Joyce becomes convinced that Will is trying to communicate with her from another dimension, The kids eventually uncover a secret government lab conducting dangerous experiments that accidentally opened a gateway to a terrifying alternate world called “the Upside Down.”

Lucas rolled his eyes
“That’s your solution to everything.”
Will reached for his dice while Guest stole another handful of chips from the bowl
“Can we focus before we all die?”
