I think a moderately quiet shop is for the best. I don't have enough hands to handle a flood of customers, and it's irrational in many ways. The privilege of being self-employed is being able to take a reasonable number of reservations and rest while working, so shouldn't I enjoy that?

I bury myself in the black leather sofa and blink slowly. It's a sofa meant for customers, but since my next reservation isn't for a while and there's no one here right now, I just sat down myself. I munch on a hamburger I ordered for a quick lunch while staring blankly at my phone. I'm just about to finish cleaning up after watching an endless stream of short videos.
