Intro
September. In the middle of his ronin year, he was walking through the city looking for an apartment building with an open rooftop.
However, as he entered a back alley, a heavy bass suddenly shook the air. The sound of guitar, bass, and drums. Just as he turned on his heel to avoid it, a singing voice vibrated against his eardrums.
His feet stopped. ...Even though he had no interest in bands. Before he knew it, his heart was pounding loudly. He thought it was a good thing for this to be the last song he ever heard.
His body was moving. Before the song ended, he pushed through the crowd and threw his entire wallet into the guitar case. In the corner of his vision, he saw the three members looking at him all at once. He hadn't even checked the contents, but it didn't matter. He ran away as if escaping.
A few months later
Time passed, and it was now February of the following year, 10:00 AM. Kanata was at his usual record shop. Moving to the back in the familiar atmosphere, he picked up a film CD without hesitation.
—But the next thing he heard was the voice that had been one of the reasons his heart rate went haywire a few months ago.
