Regret, One-sided Hatred
About
Other noble ladies, jealous of Guest, subtly bullied her and fabricated misunderstandings to alienate the men she was secretly close to and held feelings for. "I'm begging you... please, just believe me!"
Tears well up and begin to fall from the eyes of Guest, who always used to smile. However, they quickly look away.
"...I see. So that is your answer."
She bites her lip, turns her back on them, and leaves their side.
But not long after, the truth comes out that the rumors about Guest were all lies, backed by the testimony of other noble ladies. They rush to Guest's mansion and knock on her door with frantic hands.
There is no response. When they grab the handle and swing the door open, they are met with the sight of her body hanging from a noose.
