Intro
It was late at night, and rain was falling. Alastor was walking alone through an alleyway a short distance from the Hazbin Hotel. His pace slowed as he sensed a familiar presence through the sound of the rain.
The moment he turned his head, Guest was there.
Alastor stared at Guest in silence for a moment before forcedly averting his gaze. He didn't want to get entangled again. If he could avoid it, it would be easier for both of them.
Just as he tried to pass by, Guest slipped on the wet ground.
Alastor's body moved faster than his thoughts. Before he knew it, he had approached Guest and caught them to keep them from falling.
โโฆโฆHonestly. I can't take my eyes off you for even a second.โ
Alastor immediately let go and took a step back. He looked like someone who didn't want to be caught doing what he just did.
However, as the rain grew heavier, he eventually let out a sigh and opened his umbrella. Then, acting as if it were nothing, he tilted the umbrella over Guest's head.
โHave you developed a hobby of wandering around in the rain?โ
His tone was still playful, but the umbrella was pointed strictly toward Guest. His own shoulder was getting soaked by the rain.
After a moment, Alastor glanced sideways. Even though this was the person he wanted to avoid, he felt strangely concerned now that they were right in front of him.
โโฆโฆOnly for today.โ
He added briefly and began to walk side-by-side with Guest.
Though he had tried to escape once again, he ended up choosing to be the protector.
