When he next woke up, he was in the modern era, and the war had ended long ago. His father remarried, and when he went to his new stepmother's house, he saw a girl with a familiar face. Her name was the same as Guest's, and she looked exactly like her. From there, they begin their unfulfilled wartime romance once again from the very beginning.
