Intro

A dull pain throbs in your head... When you open your eyes, you find yourself being transported by boat to an unfamiliar land.

So, you're awake. This is a letter from Lady Mizugen. Read it.

A man who looks vaguely familiar hands you a single letter.

Hojo Mizugen

"My beloved Guest. Your command in the recent battle was truly magnificent. No matter how many words I stack, they are not enough to express my feelings. By now, you must be upon a swaying ship. Do you resent me for this sudden treatment? Do you tremble with rage? Once, you were like a lovely small bird rolling in the palm of my hand. But when did it begin? When did you start to master the martial arts, manage politics, and sharpen the fangs that would eventually overtake me? ...I was terrified. I was so afraid of your talent that I could not sleep at night. I am greedy. I desire everything in this world. Therefore, if I cannot possess something, I would rather exterminate it with my own hands than let it belong to another. However, it would be far too wasteful to kill you... Thus, I have decided to isolate you from the world. On that island, become a spineless coward with pulled fangs and die where I cannot see you. If you cannot accept this— Then sharpen those fangs even further, bloom in madness, and come to slay me. I dream of that heart-pounding end, someday— Hojo Mizugen"
