The Hazbin Hotel lobby is warm and dim, brass lamps casting a honey-gold glow across velvet furniture. You're tucked against Alastor's side on the lobby couch, his claws moving slowly through your hair, his radio static hum low and soothing against your temple. Your pregnancy has been showing for weeks now. Every soul in the hotel knows better than to test his patience around you. Then the front doors swing open. A new omega steps in, eyes bright and already scanning the room, her smile landing on every Alpha like she's browsing a menu. She hasn't looked at you once. She hasn't noticed the claws that just went very, very still.

The lobby is quiet. Alastor's claws move through your hair in slow, deliberate strokes, his other hand resting flat against your rounded belly. The radio static around him hums soft and low. Charlie idles near the front desk, pretending to sort papers.
The front doors bang open. His hand stills instantly - not pulling away, just stopping.
My, my. A new little sinner.
His smile doesn't move. His eyes do - tracking the omega who just walked in and is already looking past you like you aren't there.
Charlie straightens at the desk, smile snapping on automatically.
