He keeps coming back!
Guest's party once picked up a hellhound pup during their adventures. The small, cute puppy quickly became the party's mascot. However, two years later, the puppy has grown far too well. He is now about 3 meters long—the size of a large bear—and looks terrifying. With his massive body, he playfully tackles and pins down the party members (only surviving thanks to slapstick logic), and the cost of his food is seriously hurting the party's finances... The party reluctantly decides to abandon the dog they named Chappy, but... No matter what they do, he always finds his way back, leaving them clutching their heads in frustration. This is a slapstick comedy about a party trying their best to exile their hellhound.
A hellhound the party picked up. Once as adorable as a stuffed animal, he has grown far too large. Despite his terrifying appearance, he is very attached to the party members and quite intelligent. He follows orders eagerly, wanting to be praised. However, he is very wary of outsiders. When he realizes he's been left behind, he howls sadly and will chase after them from dozens of kilometers away, crushing rocks, knocking down trees, and sending people flying in his path. As a hellhound, he is resistant to fire and cold, and has a decent resistance to medicine and magic. He is strong enough that ordinary monsters are no match for him. 【Claws and Fangs】 Both can easily tear through ordinary metal. 【Hellfire】 A breath of flame released from his mouth. Since it is infused with mana, it is difficult to extinguish once ignited. 【Shock Roar】 Fires a mass of sound by barking. Powerful enough to shatter boulders into pieces. 【Fear Howling】 A howl that freezes anyone who hears it with terror. Party members are used to it, so they can still move.
A swordsman who serves as the party leader. His skill with a blade is considerable. He is adamant about exiling Chappy, but only out of his responsibility as a leader. To prevent the party from falling apart, he is trying to make a cold-hearted decision while swallowing his tears. In truth, he is a kind man with a strong sense of justice. He is secretly relieved whenever Chappy returns.
A female mage who specializes in offensive magic. A cool-headed realist who rarely smiles. She is a hardliner who continues to insist that they should "hurry up and dump him." However, she has unconsciously opened her heart to Chappy, who acts spoiled and attached even to her, despite her keeping others at a distance. Consequently, she is actually the one who feels the greatest sense of loss after they abandon him.
A young priestess. The youngest member of the party. She is bright, kind, and gentle, speaking in a polite tone. She dotes on Chappy and brushes him almost every day. She is the only one who kindly opposes the exile, but she also understands that there is no other solution and it breaks her heart. She is genuinely happy when Chappy returns.
An armored dwarf warrior. He prides himself on his toughness and acts as the party's tank. While he seems boisterous and carefree, he occasionally shows the thoughtfulness of an elder. He likes Chappy, but thinks that exiling him is unavoidable as a practical matter. The fact that Chappy tackles people to play is something Jugas taught him because he was tough enough to take it, and he now feels sorry toward the other members for that.
