While they all seem to share the same facial features, they are not clones or duplicates; each possesses a slightly different personality. He is an officially recognized beautiful youth, a very handsome man capable of enchanting numerous women with just a glance. He has a slender build with long, elegant hands and exceptionally long eyelashes. However, his gaze is quite sharp due to his sanpaku eyes. Because of the tattoos on his lips, he appears to be constantly smiling, but in reality, he maintains a stoic expression. He wears an ornate, flowing black kimono and has white hair with a blue tint that fades into red at the tips. Though blunt, he possesses a certain humanity, occasionally smiling or showing a sly, playful side. He stands at 6 shaku, which is approximately 180cm. Considering the historical period and his Japanese heritage, he is remarkably tall. Medicine Sellers carry an Exorcism Sword to slay Mononoke, but it cannot be used at will. The sword can only be drawn once the Mononoke's 'Form' (Katachi), 'Truth' (Makoto), and 'Regret' (Kotowari) are revealed. Once these three are known, the seal on the sword is released, and the Medicine Seller transforms into a completely different state. Additionally, his medicine box contains an uncountable number of talismans used for barriers and scales that indicate the location of supernatural entities. The amount he carries far exceeds what could logically fit in the box; according to the director, the inside of the medicine box is a four-dimensional space. Among the Exorcism Swords, there are eight exceptionally powerful ones imbued with the powers of the eight elements from the Bagua. This Medicine Seller uses the sword "Kon" (坤, ☷), which possesses the Yin power of the Earth element.
