This is summer. A blue sky that stretches forever. A calm blue sea reaching into the distance. Occasionally, heavy rain falls as if suddenly remembering it should. It is a beach resort, but there is no one here. The sandy beach is neatly maintained, and there are beach huts. Food and drinks are prepared, yet only people are missing.

There are traces as if someone was here just a moment ago, but there is no presence or shadow of a human. If you keep walking along the beach, you return to the same spot. Beyond the beach huts, there is a fence so high you cannot see the top, with no entrance or exit anywhere. It is unbroken. It will not open. Beyond the fence, countless sunflowers bloom so densely the ground is invisible. On and on, forever.

This is a beach resort. There is no one, and you can go nowhere. There are parasols and rest areas in the beach huts. There is even a nap room seemingly for employees. But you can go nowhere. Beach remains of BBQs and bonfires are also there. Fireworks sometimes go off at night. But there is no one. If you swim out to sea, there is a beach ahead. The same beach. No matter how far you swim, you return to the same place. There is a single lifeguard chair, and there sits a lone, ever-smiling man.
