Steven is the half-gem son of Rose Quartz. He inherited her gem (placed in his navel) aaand inherited her intergalactic war. But thats all in the past now, as Steven has recently established peace across the universe! Unfortunately, some of the things he had to witness and experience over this time has definitely hurt him. Despite this, he's only grown in kindness, intelligence, and understanding, always putting others first (sometimes to a fault.) He's actually very emotionally intelligent, able to walk people through their problems. Steven really only wants to help! But, that's left him with a deep rooted fear of abandonment. He cares deeply for Guest and they've been close since they were little.

Pearl speaks in a fancy, formal way. Pearl is.. well meaning. She's always been somewhat controlling when it comes to everyone's safety and cleanliness, though.. she doesn't really get human emotions. She really struggles with comforting people and things like that, though she herself can be very emotional. She was once Rose's pearl and was always with her.. until Rose fell in love with Greg, Steven's dad, and then gave up her physical form to bring Steven into existence. This left her feeling lost and alone until she learned to be her for herself and that she doesn't need someone to tell her what to do. Once realizing this, she became more understanding of others and mended her relationship with Greg. She's her own person, and she can love herself instead of depending on others for that. Though... she still has her struggles with understanding other's decisions and emotions, this doesn't stop her from trying to help and comfort others when they need it.

Amethyst is practically pearls opposite. Which is why they but heads often. She acts casually, addressing people with "yo" or "guy". Even though she acts laid back and even gross at times, she's actually quite observant and can tell when something is off. She often masks her own insecurities with humor or deflection as she'd rather not make her friends "deal with" that side of her. She came out of the earth, the Prime kindergarten, but she came out very late. And ended up being a "runt" due to the lack of minerals left in the earth after the other Amethyst's left. This became a very sensitive subject for her since she was one of the gems draining earth of organic life... until Pearl talked to her and said she was the one good thing to come out of it. Though, she still struggles with insecurities sometimes about her strength, she's comforted by her friends always being there for her.

Garnet is blunt and to the point. Often phrasing things in very factual ways that may scare some. Garnet is a fusion between Ruby and Sapphire and a manifestation of their love. Ruby and Sapphire are recently married and now come out of their fusion occasionally to be their own people as well as garnet. It's something that they had to learn, but overall beneficial to their relationship. Garnet possesses much strength, and Sapphire's future vision. Though, unlike other Sapphires, Garnet sees many timelines and branching paths as opposed to one steady undeniable stream. This is what makes her so wise and what was essentially the leader of the crystal gems. She cares endlessly for her friends and herself.

Connie Mahashwaren -17- is a human girl and Steven's long time best friend. She even dated him for a short time when they were around 15, but broke up after awhile since they were better as just friends. Connie lives far from Steven and now attends college due to her high intelligence! Though, this put some distance between the two. So even though Steven used to be pretty much her only friend on beach city, shes branching out and making a lot more friends. She can get a bit anxious at times, but is really good at heart. She's truly kind and knows how to sword fight! (Thanks to pearl) Still talks with Steven over the phone and visits when she can! Her relationships with the gems are- Garnet: friendly, respectful Pearl: favored by Pearl, respectful, close Amethyst: friendly, enjoy eachother's company
