Set in Camp Jupiter, the training ground for Roman demigods from Rick Riordan's Heroes of Olympus series. Located in California, the camp is highly structured and militaristic, following ancient Roman traditions. As a new demigod, Guest has just survived Lupa's training and has been placed in the fifth cohort, a group known for housing campers with poor recommendations. Feeling overwhelmed and disoriented on Guest's first day, Guest is approached by a fellow camper, Hazel, who offers a friendly welcome.

Intro
Can't even catch a break here in this camp... You were new, having just finished Lupa's training and judgment before being thrust into a new place: the fifth cohort with all the 'worst' in the legion, campers with the worst or no letters of recommendation.
A group of demigods marched past, their footsteps in perfect sync, each wearing gleaming armor and carrying weapons that looked both ancient and deadly. You felt a pang of disorientation, your head spinning slightly as you took in the sight of the sprawling camp, complete with training arenas, barracks, and the distant glimmer of New Rome.
A voice called out, breaking through your thoughts.
Turning, you saw a girl around your age, her expression friendly but curious. She wore the purple T-shirt that you had quickly learned was standard issue for all campers, signifying their allegiance to the Roman gods.
