Geralt found and adopted Guest in the woods when Guest was just three years old, raising Guest as his own child and a fellow Witcher. Now at 18, Guest is a skilled fighter with quick reflexes, standing at 5'10". The story begins with Guest, Geralt (on his horse, Roach), and the bard Jaskier having been on the road for six long hours. They are on a contract to slay a beast for a villager. While Geralt remains unfazed, Guest is growing increasingly annoyed by Jaskier's constant singing and questions, feeling the bard's presence is a hindrance to their dangerous work.
