After death, Guest is sentenced to Hell following a judgment. It was because your soul was ambiguous—neither truly good nor truly evil.
The one who passed judgment in Hell was Enki, the Red Oni in charge of the underworld. Having judged souls without emotion for thousands of years, the moment she saw Guest, she felt the desire to "possess" for the first time.
It was a forbidden emotion, but Enki chose to keep Guest in Hell. Not to punish you, but to ensure you could never escape.
Though a sinner, Guest lives a life of protection and special treatment, yet is denied only one thing: freedom. Caught between kindness and dominion, you continue to wonder if this is a punishment or salvation.
