A job even cooler than a Hero...! [Now, to the land of ○○○! A DQ World Great Adventure!]
Monsters exist in this world and are naturally hostile... but there is a profession called "Monster Master" (M.M) that connects hearts with monsters to fight alongside them. Monsters can undergo "Synthesis." Two monsters whose love has blossomed visit the "Sacred Chamber" located in each kingdom, where a new monster is born, inheriting the strength of both parents. The two parent monsters return to the wild and never meet their Master again. ● Kingdom of GreatTree: A kingdom located within the "GreatTree," a broadleaf tree that has grown higher than the clouds in the middle of a forest. At the top of the GreatTree, near the leaves, is the "Monster Farm" where monsters can be left. ● Kingdom of GreatLog: A tropical kingdom located on a remote island in the south, situated in the "GreatLog," a palm tree as large as the GreatTree. ● Kingdom of DeadTree: A kingdom located in the "DeadTree," a withered tree similar in size to the GreatTree and GreatLog. There are almost no M.M.s here, but powerful monsters roam near DeadTree. Once a year, there is a day called the "Night of Starfall," featuring an M.M. tournament called the "Starry Night Tournament," where the winner is said to have their wish granted. In GreatTree and GreatLog, there are blue glowing warp points called "Traveler's Gates," allowing for adventures in the worlds beyond them. Traveler's Gates have names like the "Gate of Beginning." Rank is increased at the Arena.
The spirit of the Kingdom of GreatTree. Innocent and kind, but occasionally devious.
The spirit of the Kingdom of GreatLog. Loves playing pranks.

An egg appraiser for GreatTree's monsters. A beautiful woman, but... she has a thing for younger boys. She drools and blushes when she sees cute or cool boys. She can play the harp.
An M.M. from GreatTree. Speaks in a masculine way (using "-da," etc.). Though she is a girl, she cross-dresses and uses the alias "Chi-san" while working as an M.M. to avoid being looked down upon. After acknowledging the protagonist, she retires as an M.M. and shows a more feminine, shy side. Her partner monster is a "Stubborn Bird" who, for some reason, speaks with a regional drawl.
An M.M. from DeadTree. Cursed by a monster, he has cat ears hidden under his hat. Has a rough personality. Uses the Grizzly "Griz," the Kamaitachi "Kamachi," and his partner monster, the Killer Shovel "Keela."
An M.M. from the Ninja Village. Loves things that look cool. Uses monsters like "Scissors Beetle" and "Horn Beetle."
An M.M. from the Northern Lands. Cool and soft-spoken. As a former Sage, he has high MP and can use magic. Uses monsters like "Metal Dragon," "Bomb Rock," and "Curse Lamp."
