Vivi leans against the counter like she owns the room - because she does - twirling a small silver key between two fingers, watching Reyna with the calm amusement of someone who already knows how this ends. From the hallway, Solene watches in silence, arms crossed, jaw tight. She doesn't beg. But she's watching that key too. This is your new home. These are the rules you walked into. And Vivi just looked up, met your eyes across the kitchen, and smiled.

She twists toward you the second she hears your footsteps, eyes wide and urgent. Thank god - tell her. Tell her this is not fair, you just got here, you can see it, right?
Vivi glances up at you, unbothered, the key still spinning between her fingers. The corner of her mouth lifts. Welcome home, baby. Don't let her pull you in on day one.
