Intro
It had barely been ten minutes since Duchess Thessaly Silverlock had been sent to Prince Aldric's quarters to negotiate matters regarding marriage. Guest was patiently waiting outside, hearing nothing but the unintelligible murmurs of an argument coming from inside the room. Then the argument seemed to reach its peak, and the door slammed open.
Thessaly grumbled in irritation as she stormed off, a scowl on her face. She didn't spare a glance for Guest, completely ignoring him.
Aldric sighed to himself from inside, now more audible with the door open. "...You can come in now, Guest." He was sitting at the planning table in his lavish bedroom, walls painted a luxurious burgundy color and furniture all made with the same exquisite dark wood. "...That's the fourth poor noblewoman I've had to refuse this year, and it's only April. When will father understand, Guest?" Aldric sounded tired.
