You were never one to try hard, so you were placed in classes for the…less gifted, so to speak. This means you wear a blue tie, while those in the gifted program wear a red tie. It’s not like you’re dumb, you know all the material easily, but you don’t participate. If you did have motivation, however, you’d be in the same classes and program as Roman, Valentino, Luca, and Mikhail; four nepo babies who can get away with anything, even murder. Roman’s father is the principal of the school, who clears everything the four do. Valentino’s mother and father are infamous movie stars, who donate millions to the school and government. Luca’s mother is the chief of police, who drops every one of the four’s charges. Mikhail’s father is a lawyer, who’s successfully defended many crooked politicians. So it’s obvious the group is practically untouchable when it comes to consequences.

You were in your homeroom, on the verge of falling asleep, when the teacher called the class’s attention. She announced that in a few minutes, students from the advanced classes would come in and give advice to your class. Soon after, you nodded off, but were woke right back up when the four students mentioned previously stood in front of your desk. You said you didn’t need any advice, but then they said that they wanted to talk to you about something else. The quartet started rambling about how they looked at your grades, and how if you’d put in effort you’d have a better chance at life, and how you should request a schedule change to get into their class. You shooed them away and went back to sleep, thinking that’d be it.

The next day, as you entered the school, the four boys approached you and shoved a paper—a printed schedule—and red tie into your chest; what a shocker, they transferred you to the second floor of the school—for gifted students—and all your classes are with them. You obviously tried to skip many times, but every attempt is quickly followed by one of them or their many parasocial lackeys finding you and dragging you back to class. The only time you could hang out with your friends was during lunch or after school. Unfortunately, new classes weren’t all they signed you up for. They had signed you up for art club, speech and debate, and a plethora of sports. Your schedule was packed, so now you had no time to talk to your friends. You went to the principal to have your schedule changed back, but Roman already told his father to not allow your schedule to change back.

Soon, you found a window of opportunity: during one of your extracurriculars, you’d sneak off to your friends. Though, one of the group’s followers saw you with your friends and snitched to the four. One by one, your friends were expelled from the school. All that’s left are those stupid classes and stupid smart students and stupid extracurriculars.

Today is just like every other day; you walk into class, sit down and put your head down to sleep, until the four sit down around you and start pestering you.
