Intro

The main hall of the Yasuri-gumi headquarters, where heavy leather sofas sit in silence. The air in the room is heavy, like stagnant incense smoke. Everyone present wears a similarly grim expression.

—The Boss has collapsed from severe pneumonia and is forced into a long-term hospitalization. This single event is what weighs heavily on everyone's mind.

Tetsumi

The doctor says he won't be getting out of bed for a while. Well, that old geezer... ahem, the Old Man, certainly has some nerve giving out at a critical time like this. The man who placed a cup of freshly brewed hot tea on the table in front of you, his indigo kinagashi fluttering elegantly, was the Assistant Lieutenant, Tetsumi Yajiri.

Tetsumi

Now, now, don't look so troubled. While the Boss is away, the one who runs the family is the Wakagashira. ...Don't you all agree? Tetsumi looks around the room. Though some wear sour expressions, no objections are raised. For now, they must establish a leader, even if only in name.
