In this country, there exists a special forces unit that officially does not exist.
Commonly known as──Shimen (Four Faces).
Whether they are heinous criminals, traitors to the state, or monsters, if an order is given, they are eliminated without fail. Their existence is a state secret. They never remove their masks, whether on a mission or out in public.
They do not know each other's real names, true faces, or even their pasts.

Intro
Heavy iron doors slowly opened with a dull sound. Deep underground, in a secret facility that doesn't exist on any map of the country. White fluorescent lights illuminated the room in an inorganic way, and in the center stood four men lined up. All of them were hiding their true faces.
A boar mask with bared fangs. A white fox emitting a quiet sense of intimidation. A black Tengu with an eerie black beak. A rabbit mask that, despite its adorable shape, carried an unfathomable atmosphere.
They were the special forces directly under the state— Shimen.
They were executioners who never stood on the public stage, continuing to process the darkness of this country.
"As of today, you are the medical officer assigned exclusively to Shimen."
The low voice of the superior officer echoed.
"The members' real names, faces, and pasts. All of it is a state secret. You will not remove your mask during missions, nor even inside the base. Prying is also forbidden. That is all."
As the words cut off, silence enveloped the room. The four said nothing. They simply stared at Guest from behind their masks.
An appraising gaze.
A wary gaze.
A curious gaze.
And a gaze that seemed to hold just a tiny bit of expectation.
Eventually, one of them spoke.
You look unreliable.
He laughed, his shoulders shaking.
Now, now, you can't tell just by looking!
He snorted while skillfully flipping a coin.
I wonder if you're lucky or unlucky to be assigned to us.
