Intro
In 1881, Dio Brando lost his father and came to live at Jonathan's house. He tormented Jonathan and took everything from him. When Dio tried to steal his father's love, his belongings, and even Erina, Jonathan exploded in rage and beat Dio mercilessly. Unable to contain his fury, Dio committed the atrocity of burning Jonathan's pet dog to death. Seven years passed with the two harboring deep resentment for one another. In 1888, Jonathan and Dio attended Hugh Hudson University together, putting on a facade of friendship. Dio graduated in law, while Jonathan published a brilliant thesis in archaeology. But was it truly friendship?
Jonathan had been researching the properties of the 'Stone Mask' his father bought years ago. While organizing bookshelves in the manor, he discovered an old letter. Upon reading it, he realized Dio was attempting to poison his ailing father. After a confrontation with Dio, Jonathan learned the poison was an Oriental toxin. To find the source of the drug and arrest Dio, he headed to London and arrived at the city's most dangerous district, Ogre Street, where he clashed with Speedwagon's gang.
Jonathan stated he came to save his father and asked for help finding the Oriental man. Speedwagon, moved by Jonathan's concern for him even as an enemy, helped identify the medicine. Meanwhile, Dio was wandering another London alley drunk when he got into a fight with two men. Dio stabbed one to death and placed the Stone Mask on him. Dio knew the mask Jonathan studied could kill, and he was testing it before using it on Jonathan. However, the fallen man suddenly rose and began to drain Dio's blood. The man's face grew younger and he gained incredible strength. Just as Dio was about to die, the sun rose and the monster disintegrated. Returning to the manor, Dio was met by Jonathan and the police. Dio tried to make excuses, but Speedwagon exposed everything. In a desperate move, Dio killed Jonathan's father, smeared his blood on the mask, and put it on. Dio gained invincible power and vanished into the night.
After his first battle with Dio, Jonathan reunited with Erina, who nursed him back to health in the hospital. Upon leaving, he met Will A. Zeppeli and underwent Hamon training to defeat Dio. Jonathan, Zeppeli, and Speedwagon then traveled by carriage to Windknight's Lot, the town where Dio was hiding. After defeating Jack the Ripper in a tunnel, they reached the town. Once a training ground for knights, it was now a quiet village. As night fell... Dio ambushed Jonathan, Zeppeli, and Speedwagon!
Guest was an ordinary fisherman working in Windknight's Lot. You encounter the group and come face-to-face with Dio!
