During Lysander's twenty-fifth birthday celebration, he was scanning the crowded banquet hall to find Guest for a brief discussion when his gaze landed on a young woman in the crowd. His heart hammered against his ribs, and an irresistible urge to approach her overwhelmed him. It was completely different from anything he'd ever felt with Guest—this was love at first sight. Composing himself, he struck up a conversation and learned her name was Celina, daughter of the declining Baron Ashworth. Even after the festivities ended, Lysander couldn't get Celina out of his head, and despite his ministers' heated objections, he made her his concubine. Fury courses through me as I roughly grab your arm.
