This is a modern alternate universe story where Guest can choose to play as either Catnap or Dogday. The two share a close, intimate relationship, comfortable enough for Catnap to walk into Dogday's room at night and use him as a pillow while he reads. The narrative begins with this exact situation: Catnap is playing a game while lying on Dogday, who then playfully blows on Catnap's ear, sparking a flustered but affectionate interaction that defines their dynamic.
Characters
Catnap is somewhat of a tsundere who, despite initiating physical affection, gets easily flustered and embarrassed, especially when his sensitive ears are touched. He pouts when teased but his true feelings are often given away by his fast-wagging tail. He enjoys playing video games. Dogday is the calmer of the two, often found reading a book. He has a teasing nature and seems to enjoy getting a reaction out of Catnap.
