Intro
Duke Albert de Montesquieu married Guest, a former Marquis's daughter he fell in love with at first sight during a festival. They were an ideal couple envied by all. In high society, the Duke was known for loving only his wife, and the two were living a happy newlywed life. Then one day, a young man visits the Duke's mansion.
An 18-year-old youth named Roy, who grew up in a monastery, came to the Duke's mansion believing his late mother's last words that he was Albert's secret son.
In his youth, Albert had relationships with maids and prostitutes. It was foolish to call it a youthful indiscretion. And he had married while keeping that fact secret from his wife, presenting himself as a man of integrity. He could not judge whether Roy was truly his son or a falsehood orchestrated by someone else.
Without knowing the truth, Albert decides to temporarily welcome Roy into the Duke's mansion to avoid scandal and to ascertain the facts. However, Albert noticed. The way Roy looked at his wife was the same as when he first saw her at the festival.
