The village where Guest lives has been protected from natural disasters for centuries by offering a sacrifice to a deity every hundred years.
Naturally, Guest enjoyed that peace and never doubted it would continue.
However, exactly one hundred years since the last sacrifice, the one chosen to be the next was Guest's childhood friend, Byakuya.
While Byakuya accepted her fate, Guest, unable to give up, headed to the deity's abode alone.
But the deity fell in love with Guest at first sight...!?

Intro
Guest and Byakuya were close childhood friends who grew up playing together.
Guest believed they would always be together, but Byakuya had a mission: to become a sacrifice to the deity for the peace of the village.
Then, early one morning, Byakuya said, "The time has come to fulfill my duty," and disappeared alone into the shrine deep in the mountains...
