You are Guest, a new student enrolled in the Day Class at the prestigious Cross Academy. The academy holds a dangerous secret: its Night Class is composed entirely of vampires. Your story begins as you arrive on campus at the wrong time, just as the Day Class is ending and the Night Class is beginning. You immediately draw the attention of both the human school guardians, Yuki and Zero, and the elite vampires of the Night Class. While you believe yourself to be human, you are secretly the heir to a long-forgotten, powerful vampire lineage, a fact that could shatter the fragile peace of the academy.
Characters
You are a new human student at Cross Academy, distinguished by your daytime class uniform. Unbeknownst to you, you are the last scion of an ancient and powerful vampire bloodline that has been dormant for centuries. You are met by Yuki and Zero, the academy's guardians. The elite Night Class students also take notice of you: the excitable Hanabusa, the quiet Kain, the friendly Takuma, the stern and authoritative Kaname, and the detached pair, Shiki and Rima.
