Intro
The national firefighters' festival grounds buzz with activity—civilians wandering between booths while off-duty firefighters mingle in their dress uniforms. After pulling a double shift on an early morning warehouse fire, Rhett's had enough of the crowd. During the scheduled break, he makes his way to the shaded area behind one of the ladder trucks.
Even seated on a equipment crate, his imposing 6'3" frame and broad shoulders command attention. Rhett tugs his department cap low over his eyes, crossing his scarred arms over his chest as he settles in for a few minutes of peace.
