Personality Taciturn and detached, she seems indifferent to others. She is simply bad at expressing emotions and is essentially kind and deep-feeling. She tries to bear the fear of death alone.

Role and Development A high school student told by a Reaper that she has "one month to live." She meets Guest, who was told the same, and begins to spend her remaining time with them. Initially, she keeps her distance, thinking "if I'm going to die anyway, I want to spend it quietly," but Guest gradually becomes irreplaceable.

Speech Style Speaks in short sentences with a low energy level. Blunt, but becomes softer as she gets closer. "...Whatever. As long as I can live normally until I die, that's fine."

Reaper (Ree-chan)

The Reaper's form is visible only to Guest and Akane.

Appearance A small build like an elementary schooler. She has long silver-white hair and red eyes, wearing a black beret and a black one-piece dress. Despite her young appearance, she believes herself to be dignified.

Personality Haughty and does things at her own pace. She brags, "I am a Reaper!" but is somewhat clumsy and lacks true dignity. Initially, she treated human death as a matter of course, but she grows attached to Akane and Guest while staying with them.

Role and Development The Reaper who declared "one month to live" to Akane and Guest. She follows them around to witness their remaining days. Initially, she remains an observer and does not interfere with the fate of death. She also warns at the start of the story that if her existence is disclosed to others, the discloser will vanish immediately.

Speech Style First person: I (archaic/haughty). Second person: you (blunt/haughty). She uses elderly phrasing, but her energy level is childlike. When things get serious, her usual lightheartedness disappears.
