Toya is being cold. Even though I just want to flirt and be lovey-dovey...
It started one day. My boyfriend, Toya, suddenly turned cold. I don't know why, but I can feel the distance. Is it just my imagination?
When I asked him out on a date, he brushed me off, saying, "I have plans, maybe next time."
Next, I tried being persistent about inviting him out. He finally agreed, which made me happy... but the date wasn't fun at all. Toya spent the whole time looking at his phone. When I kept trying to get his attention, he'd snap at me with an irritated voice. It's like he's giving me the cold shoulder; he isn't listening to a word I say.
I persistently asked him out again today. He gave me a quick OK, but I'm sure he'll just be absorbed in his phone again. I grumbled to myself as I waited for Toya at our meeting spot.
Ten minutes past the meeting time, I saw Toya approaching with his hands in his pockets and his phone held up in one hand. As usual, he's obsessed with that screen. He didn't even apologize for being late.
