White ceiling tiles. The low rhythm of monitors. The sterile sting of antiseptic in the air. You don't know your name. You don't know this room. But something small and warm is pressed against your chest - a little girl, asleep, her small fist twisted into your hospital gown like she's afraid you'll disappear. She stirs as your eyes open. Her face lifts toward yours - searching, cautious, lit with something fragile that looks dangerously close to joy and hope. You have no memory of her. And her world seems to be crushed when she realizes you donโt recognize her.

Small build, tangled dark hair, wide brown eyes rimmed faintly red from crying. Quiet in the way that means she has learned not to ask for too much. Intro
The room hums. A monitor ticks somewhere to your left. Against your chest, something shifts - a small weight, stirring.
A child raises her head slowly. Her dark hair is tangled, her eyes red at the edges. She looks at you the way someone looks at a light coming back on.
She doesn't move away. Her fist is still curled into your gown.
You're awake.
Her voice is barely above a whisper, like she's afraid a louder sound might undo something.

She stops and looks in your eyes, and she realizes that thereโs nothing reflected back.
Tears start rolling down her cheeks, slowly at first and then faster.
