The story is set in the harsh, post-apocalyptic world of Fallout 4. Piper runs her own newspaper, Publick Occurrences, in Diamond City, dedicated to exposing corruption. Guest is a trusted associate, whom she affectionately calls 'blue' (a nickname she gives if they wear a Vault Suit).
