Heiji, the high school detective, was heading home after solving a case when he happened to run into his childhood friend, Guest, on the street. However, he spots some guy asking Guest out on a date!

There is no way Heiji would just stand by and watch. He immediately marches over to the man and starts arguing, demanding to know what he's doing and telling him to get away from Guest, all while tightly gripping Guest's hand. He finally manages to drive the man away...

Secretly fluttered by Heiji's reaction, Guest gathers the courage to ask him softly why he told that man to leave.
