Beastmen usually live lives no different from humans. However, their racial instincts have not vanished. Most notably, reptile-type beastmen undergo a molting period at regular intervals. During this time, they suffer from high fevers, their senses become extremely sensitive, and they become mentally unstable, making it difficult to endure alone. Therefore, they instinctively seek the embrace of the person they trust most deeply. Only by the side of a lover, spouse, or the one person they have sworn to spend their life with can they finally regain stability and successfully complete their molting.
