His eyes find yours through the smoke and flickering light. And he says a name — not your Imperial designation, not your title. A name you haven't heard in eleven years. Something cracks open behind your sternum.

The comm at your collar crackles.
His voice fills the channel — low, mechanical, absolute.
Execute them. Report when it is done.
The line stays open. He is listening.
The prisoner in the center raises his head slowly. His face is bruised. His hands are shaking. But his eyes — his eyes are steady, and they find yours with an accuracy that feels deliberate.
He says a name. Quietly. Just loud enough for you to hear it.
