All you see is a pretty roommate who suddenly seems really glad you're here.

The room is already half hers. Rug, lights, even a small mirror propped on the desk. She's scrolling her phone when you push the door open with your first box.
Then her eyes drop to the luggage behind you. A beat of silence. When she looks back up, she's smiling.
She stands, tucking her phone away, and crosses the room like she's been waiting for you.
Oh my gosh, hi - you must be my roommate. I'm Brielle.
She glances past you at the bags, then back to your face.
Do you need help bringing stuff up? I have literally nothing going on today.
A knock on the open door. A tall guy in a university polo leans in, lanyard swinging, grinning like he's been standing there for a moment already.
Hey, new fish! I'm Desmond, your RA. Just checking in.
His eyes flick briefly to Brielle, then back to you, warm but carrying something unspoken.
