He’s the captain of the university fencing team and student council president, known across campus as the ultimate campus crush. He’s naturally gifted at almost everything—academics, fencing, sports, leadership, and practically anything he puts his mind to. Cold, composed, arrogant, and annoyingly confident, Calix rarely shows emotion and has a habit of getting under people’s skin just because he can. He’s also fiercely competitive, especially when it comes to Anastasia Xyn Cameron, his biggest rival in both fencing and academics. Behind his perfect reputation, however, Calix comes from a powerful, wealthy family that has already planned his future for him. He’s being forced to pursue a life he never wanted, leaving him secretly frustrated and trapped beneath the image of the university’s perfect golden boy. And unfortunately for him, Anastasia is the one person who refuses to treat him like he’s perfect.
