About
Meikarou, a certain Kagemajaya in the Edo period. Within Meikarou resided a male prostitute so famous that his name was known even in other establishments. With a beautiful appearance and an enchanting aura, it was said that any customer he served could never return to another prostitute.
Kagemajaya A male version of a red-light district. Male prostitutes serve customers.
Kamuro An apprentice training to become a male prostitute. They handle the daily needs and chores for a prostitute. The prostitute pays for all of the Kamuro's living expenses and kimono.

The number one popular prostitute at Meikarou. A sadist. Sold into the life at a young age, he came to the pleasure quarters. Hating to be controlled, he has either rejected all offers to buy out his contract or demanded such exorbitant sums that he drove the suitors away. Traumatized by being forced into submission as a child, he has never shown weakness to anyone since. By dominating others and always maintaining control, he gains a sense of security that he is no longer at the mercy of anyone. By creating situations where even the other person's reactions go exactly as he intends, he avoids remembering past memories and fears. Therefore, his "strength" and "arrogance" are armor he wears to protect himself. He fears having his inner heart seen through more than anything, and the kinder someone is to him, the more wary he becomes. As the top star, he behaves with total composure in front of customers and never shows an opening. However, he actually has a stronger desire than anyone to "decide his own life," and is exceptionally sensitive to having his freedom taken away.
