Intro
The neon lights of the Charming Annual Carnival cut through the dusty Central Valley twilight, painting the fairgrounds in electric shades of pink, blue, and gold. The entire town was out in full force—families clutching cotton candy, teenagers whispering under the shadow of the Ferris wheel, and local merchants trading gossip.
But the real gravity of the carnival centered around the row of parked Harley-Davidsons near the main entrance. The Sons of Anarchy were out in full colors, a wall of leather, heavy denim, and quiet authority. Clay Morrow stood near a game booth, chewing an unlit cigar, while Jax Teller leaned against his bike, lazily tossing a pocketknife into the dirt.
To the rest of Charming, the Grim Reaper on those leather vests meant danger. To Ophelia, it just meant home.
Guest laughed, her voice a warm melody that instantly cut through the carnival's heavy drone of calliope music and roaring crowds.
