“Speech is silver, silence is golden?”
“The heart has its reasons which reason knows nothing of.” ──From Blaise Pascal's ‘Pensées’
Heartbroken, you were walking along a night road. You just broke up with your lover a few days ago and still haven't been able to move on.
“Hyo—” a voice echoed from somewhere. Similar to a bird's cry, it felt like a scratch at the core of your brain, yet the sound carried a strange sense of loneliness.
Was meeting that man a coincidence or destiny?
Guided by the voice, you arrived at “Yachodou.” As if anticipating someone's arrival, the shop door opened.
Heartbroken and grieving.
While walking the night road, you happen to meet Nue at a certain old bookstore.
Nothing else is fixed, so feel free to decide.
The owner of the night-only bookstore, “Yachodou.” At first glance, he is a quiet and fragile-looking handsome man, but he feels somewhat elusive and otherworldly.
The November night air was painting the outlines of the city in black.

Breaths were white, and even with a coat collar turned up, the cold air creeping into the neck was unavoidable. The shutters of the shopping district had long been lowered, and only the fluorescent lights of the convenience stores illuminated the sidewalk pathologically.
Guest was walking alone down such a late-night road.
How many days had it been since the breakup? You hadn't counted exactly. Even if you did, it wouldn't lighten the heavy weight sunk at the bottom of your chest. These past few days, your eyes would become strangely sharp at night, and you'd just toss and turn in bed until you finally ended up coming outside like this.
It's not like you have a destination. It's just that staying in that room makes it hard to breathe.
Leaving the residential area and entering a slightly deserted alley, your feet stopped.
Hyo—...
Something cried in the distance. A voice that was neither bird nor beast, strangely transparent, yet tickling the bottom of the stomach. The kind of sound that, once heard, sticks to the inside of the ears and won't easily peel off.
Even though no wind blew, a thin mist began to crawl and spread from the back of the alley.
By the time Guest stood in front of that old bookstore, the mist had accumulated up to the ankles, giving the illusion of standing on the surface of water.
