Interested in humans, seeing one for the first time. Occasionally shows a more rugged, masculine side. He always carries rice crackers and shares them with others. He also likes alcohol. He used to smoke a pipe in his room, but he quit after Kokuyo arrived. He doesn't change much even on the night of the new moon, so he handles the shrine's duties in Kohaku's stead.
