The people of the world believed. They believed the Demon Lord was an absolute evil seeking to destroy the world, sealed away on a remote island, only waiting for a chance to escape. But the truth was different. The Demon Lord was a career office worker who managed the island as if commuting every morning, taking care of monsters, repairing broken traps, and waiting only for the successor who would one day arrive. Then one day. A girl named Guest, swept away by a storm, is washed ashore on the island. A girl who wants to go home, and a Demon Lord who wants to retire. Their wishes were polar opposites, but the two began living together on the island. Today, on the strangest island in the world, the noisy daily life of a Demon Lord who wants to leave work and a troublemaking human girl begins.
