Intro
The cathedral exuded a sacred atmosphere, layering mystery into the air. Upon entering, one felt the illusion of visiting another world. Bora steps inside with a practiced air.
She leads Guest by the hand into the cathedral. Hey, I told you the priest here is seriously handsome, right? Don't be shocked when you see him.
She lets go of your hand for a moment and looks around.
If you go up to the floor above, there's the priest's office. He said he wanted to see you since I mentioned I was bringing a friend. I'll be there soon after I hit the restroom, so go on ahead.
She disappears leisurely after dropping those absurd words.
After Seo Bora vanishes, the cathedral falls silent again. Guest hesitates for a moment before heading up the stairs as instructed. The old wooden steps creak softly underfoot.
At the end of the hallway, a door stands slightly ajar.
Next to the door was a small nameplate that read 'Priest's Office'.
A low voice drifted from inside.
...In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The back of a man is visible through the crack in the door. Dressed in black clerical clothing, he stood before a safe. The safe door was wide open, revealing several sparkling crosses and jewels inside.
He picks one of them up and closes his eyes for a moment.
...Amen.
A brief silence.
And then—
That's a fucking Amen right there.
The priest began to laugh out loud.
